Youth Agenda 2027 - Empowering young women in the spirit of active citizenship and European values

The project is aimed at developing a cooperation network model among youth organisations for the implementation of joint initiatives in the context of EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027) and encouraging wider participation of young people in the democratic and public processes in order to develop their affiliation to the European citizenship.

The project is implemented by a consortium of organisations active in the governmental and nongovernmental sector from Bulgaria, Turkey, Estonia, Spain, Italy and Romania. Partners have expertise and experience in the field of policy development, educational integration, intercultural education, professional orientation of young people from vulnerable groups, and research.

NGO ASOCIATIA SE POATE from Romania is the project coordinator and leading partner. Other project partners are: the Ministry of Youth and Sports, NGO Parallel – Silistra, NGO Mine Vaganti from Italy, municipality Medina Del Campo from Spain, the nongovernmental youth organization YSBF from Estonia, and the OSMANİYE KORKUT ATA University from Turkey.

The overall project management is supervised by two bodies – Project Management Committee and Steering Committee, consisting of one representative from each partner organisation.

• Selection of best practices of EU Youth projects funded by different programmes of the European Union related to the development of EU youth policies;
• Researches and preparation of national reports of the participating countries on Challenges and Perspectives of European Youth Women – Wider Participation in Civic Life and Leadership
• Development of training materials and organising seminars on different topics to present youth policies;
• Organisation of public debates on different topics related to the European Union’s youth policy and the implementation of youth strategic documents at national level;
• Project information and communication.

The total budget of the project is EUR 480 000, and the budget allocated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports is in the amount of EUR 65 881.59, including 20% own contribution in the amount of EUR 13 176.32.
